Sayu Village is a little closer to the water source. The villagers near it are about 300 or 400 meters to the water source and two kilometers away.

"Tap water is now available, but the common people are afraid of shortage of water. For fear that there is no water, they will put tap water in the cellar and store it." Wu Kailin, head of the Broadcasting Business Department of Zhanyi District Water and Soil Resources Management and Development Company, said that because of the water shortage for many years, almost every family in the village has three or four water cellars to store water, and some of them are in the room.

The altitude of the two villages is very high, especially in Haili Village on the top of the mountain. If you want to have tap water, you need to carry water up the mountain, and the cost of electricity is very high. "If the electricity is pure, the water charge for one side will cost five or six yuan, which the people cannot afford." Wu Kailin said that it must be solved by other means. After many researches, the final choice is to use photovoltaic power to lift water, which is clean and can increase revenue and reduce expenditure.

At the end of 2021, the villagers in Sayu Village had tap water, and the villagers had a happy year.

In August 2022, Hai Ni Village will be filled with water, bidding farewell to the era of people carrying horses.

"I never thought I could use tap water in my life. As soon as the tap was turned on, clean water flowed out." With the water, all the villagers have an unspeakable ease. Since their ancestors, everyone has been used to carrying water to drink. Unexpectedly, their generation has achieved the goal of drinking clean water without leaving home.
